AVerMedia won the Taiwan Business Awards, organized by The China Times and DHL Express Taiwan. This year, there were 146 candidates, from which eight were selected after a stringent selection process that involved checking company background documents and conducting field visits for six months. AVerMedia won the Best Innovation Management Award and Allan Yang, General Manager of AVerMedia, represented on behalf of Company to accept the award. The other winners include the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (Best Social Contribution Award under the non-profit organization category), Far Eastern Group (Best Social Contribution Award for the Corporate Category), Topower Computer Industrial Co. Ltd. (Best Small and Medium Enterprise Award), all for the awards to the company, as well as Zhu You-yi, general manager of Walsin Technology Corporation, and Ji Hui-rong, CEO of The Garden of Hope Foundation (Outstanding Management Award); Yang Yao-zhou, general manager of Global Testing Corporation (Young Entrepreneur Award); and Bruce C.H. Cheng, founder and chairman of Delta Group (Best Entrepreneur Award) for individual awards.
