Amos Barzilay, Ph.D.

History/Background:

Amos is a Partner of IDG Ventures Pacific, a new early stage Venture Partner on the software and services industry. He is a former Managing Director of WI and was responsible for identifying investment opportunities in the software and IT services industries. Prior to joining WI, he was Vice President and General Manager of the Content and Supplier Group of Commerce One.

Amos holds a B.S. in Engineering from Technion in Israel and a Ph.D. and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.

History/Background:

S.C. joined Walden International in 1998. Prior to WI, he was Director of Directo Investments (South China) at AIG Investment Corporation (Asia) Ltd. Earlier in his career, he was Director, China Investments at First Eastern Investment Group, Associate Director at FPB Asia Ltd (merchant banking unit of the First Pacific Group), and Manager, Industrial Investments at Tian An Group.

S.C. holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Hong Kong and an M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
